Join us this Easter for Peckham Space’s FREE Art Clubs. Just drop in at any time during our opening hours to take part in creative activity that is open to people of all ages. Take part and help to create a huge sculpture of drawings that will grow in size as people add their contributions. Everyone who participates will help to build this structure to represent our community in Peckham.
ART CLUBS EXHIBITIONAlso inside Peckham Space we will be showing an exciting exhibition which has been produced by Year 12 and 13 pupils from 120 schools across London, created at Camberwell College of Arts as part of the Widening Participation Saturday School programme.
The Widening participation programme, at Camberwell, Chelsea and Wimbledon Colleges, for Year 12 and 13 school and FE pupils at University of the Arts London, offers high quality, accessible learning opportunities designed to enrich the art and design experience of participants and aims to lead on to applications to Higher Education Art and Design Courses.
DRAWING WORKSHOPS
Every Thursday & Saturday, 1:30 – 3:30pm, tutors from the Camberwell College of Arts Saturday School programme will be at Peckham Space to deliver special drawing workshops, designed to reflect the Saturday School Drawing workshops, inviting people of all ages to explore colour, shadow, and design. No need to book, just come along to take part.
28th & 30th March, 1:30 – 3:30pm: Exploring colour
4th & 6th April, 1:30 – 3:30pm: Exploring shadows
11th & 13th April, 1:30 – 3:30pm: Exploring design
18th & 20th April, 1:30 – 3:30: Exploring colour
